Allonzier-la-Caille is a commune in the Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in southeastern France. On 1 January 2016, it merged with the commune of Cordon to form the new commune of Cordon-Allonzier-la-Caille.
The commune is located in the foothills of the Alps, about 20 km (12 mi) north of Annecy and 10 km (6 mi) east of Bonneville. It extends over an area of 33.62 km2 (13.00 sq mi), with a maximum altitude of 1,120 m (3,670 ft) at the summit of Roc de Cordon. The terrain is mountainous, with several summits above 1,000 m (3,281 ft), and the highest point being the Roc de Cordon at 1,120 m (3,670 ft).
The climate is continental, with cold winters and hot summers. The average annual temperature is 9 °C (48 °F), and the average annual precipitation is 1,200 mm (47 in).
