Saint-Caradec is located some 10 km north-west of Quimper and 3 km east of Pluguffan. The D20 road passes through the northern part of the commune from west to east and continues east to Plomodiern. The D765 road comes from the south and passes through the village before continuing north to join the D20. The D765A goes north-east from the village to Locronan. There is also the D168 road which goes west from the village to Saint-Thois. There is also a network of country roads throughout the commune.
